What the Slack integration does
Connecting Slack to Obsidian brings workspace messaging into the AI chat. Ask what was said in a channel, find a file that was shared, or draft a reply for the paraplanning team. You stay in Obsidian instead of switching to Slack for every lookup. The connection uses OAuth. Each adviser connects their own Slack account.

How it works
Obsidian connects to your Slack account via OAuth. Once authorised, Slack tools appear in the AI chat. You can search channels, read recent messages, and draft posts. Obsidian uses the permissions you grant at connect time. Disconnect at any time from Playbook → Apps.
