OneDrive
Storage integration
Yes. Obsidian supports Microsoft OneDrive for automatic document saving, organised by client and meeting.
What the OneDrive integration does
The OneDrive integration automatically saves meeting notes, suitability reports, and other client documents from Obsidian to your Microsoft OneDrive. Files are organised by client and meeting, so nothing gets lost. Advisers who rely on OneDrive or SharePoint for document management can ensure every Obsidian-generated document lands in the right folder. The integration uses Microsoft OAuth and supports both personal and business OneDrive accounts.
What advisers can do
-
Document sync
Automatically save meeting notes and client documents to OneDrive.
How it works
When Obsidian generates a document — meeting summary, suitability report, or client note — it is automatically saved to your OneDrive. Files are organised into folders by client name and meeting date, so documents are easy to find later. The integration uses Microsoft OAuth and supports both personal OneDrive and OneDrive for Business / SharePoint document libraries. No manual file management is required.
How to connect
- 1
Go to Playbook → Apps in Obsidian.
- 2
Find OneDrive and click Connect.
- 3
Sign in with your Microsoft account and authorise access.
- 4
Documents generated by Obsidian will now save to your OneDrive automatically, organised by client.
